3 Chew Gum
When ear pain is caused by elevated altitudes or a change in atmospheric pressure, for example, when traveling on an airplane, chewing gum can give you great relief. The chewing exercise will cause the pressure in the ear to be released and in the same way end with the intense pain. It can also work to open your mouth slightly and yawn or blow a balloon through the nose, this action known as the Otovent maneuver, will help you to equalize the air pressure in the ears.
4 Hot Water Compresses
Applying heat to the ear can be helpful in relieving ear pain from water accumulation. You just have to moisten a cloth or a small towel in hot water. Use the hottest water you can handle without burning your skin. Squeeze and place over your ear. Heat and steam will stimulate the blood circulation and encourage pain reduction. To avoid the entry of water in the ear, avoid staying long in it, or use special plugs that prevent water seepage into the hearing cavity.
5 with olive oil
Olive oil is a highly recommended natural lubricant to relieve earache when it is due to the accumulation of cerumen. Just apply a few drops of warm olive oil in the ear and lie on the opposite side so that the oil stays in the ear for 15 minutes. As the oil seeps into your ear canal, it will loosen and soften the cerumen.
